Helping Local Communities Shape Wind Farm Development

Take Action Now

What We Do

Wind Farm Mapping is a division of MotVind UK CIC.

We help communities to see what a proposed wind farm will really look like and how it relates to landscapes, other wind farms, properties, habitats and historic assets such as ancient monuments, and how it will feature at different times of day. In short, everything the developers would rather you did not see.

We can also help build representations to help oppose the wrong development, or at least help to mitigate  the worst impacts should the project get consented.

Visualise

Starting with basic information such as turbine locations, hub height and blade length, we can model a wind farm within a landscape anywhere in the world and provide images from specific view points or combining local data sets to illustrate a point. We can work with you to create a presentation or attend community meetings virtually to show the results.

Consult

With years of applied research and contacts around the world, MotVind UK are well placed to pour through planning documentation and make representations where this comes up short. Our imagery is s great tool to help convey this to the public and planning authorities alike.

Campaign

We work closely with local communities to help them understand the impact of wind farm developments on their environment, economy, and overall quality of life. Our experts provide in-depth research and analysis to help communities make informed decisions.
